Well, the knock out duo that is Rynn and myself have made it to the beautiful sunshine state. After over 3,000 miles, and 7 days of driving our mission is accomplished. Tomorrow we will finally get to move back into Chapman (and I can see Nick finally) and all of our fabulous friends.
We survived a run-away windshield wiper, toll booth workers that wanted our blood, Utah, and a fraternity party. We made it through Chicago traffic, Nebraska and Iowa flatland, the Rocky Mountains, Utah's plateaus, and Death Valley. Also, contrary to popular belief we do not hate each other after being confined to the driver, and passenger seat of a Saab for over 168 hours.
The USA taught us a few lessons. Apparently few people travel the speed limit cross country, and they get very angry when you do. It is not advisable to stay on the go for over 36 hours, unless you have a good supply of espresso. Utah takes away half of the alcohol in beer, and has a very coy sense of humor. We learned that regardless of the "-ship" you are in there will be complications. Personally, I learned that a long distance relationship is very possible, and worth the wait. Another important lesson learned was not to be greedy, or your foundation will crack. I also learned to specify to my mother that staying at an ISU Frat house means that I am staying at a College Frat house, NOT a friends grandparents home. We both learned that it would totally blow to cross the country in a wagon filled with out of date style and pulled by some sort of large 4-legged animal. Also, we developed a love for Chicago and all the windy city has to offer.
Worry not delightful readers, this will not be the last of our adventures. The semester begins in less than 24 hours and the jucy, jaw dropping tales have yet to commence.
Until next time, Love you...mean it.

We Must Not Forget to Pay Homage to ISU Delts 11:43 PM
This past weekend we were hosted by Rynn's good friend at Iowa State University Dan, and all of his Delta Tau Delta Fraternity (don't worry not frat I got your back gentlemen ) brothers. They made sure to show us a good time. Let me first say the one thing Chapman is lacking, besides a more organized mail room schedule, is a fraternity row with party room basements. After a delicious dinner and beer at The Old Chicago we were swept up in a traditional ISU party. I believe it was after the first few minutes at the party that I knew that we had, as they say, 'arrived'. Not only did they have duel ruit tables, and a DJ, they also had a glowing dance floor. It was literally glowing with black lights and glow paint. The madness ensued as Rynn and I unintentionally parted ways and met a miriade of new faces. None of which I remmeber, however I am sure they were nice. I even took it upon myself to try and play the role of 'wingman' for a local unnamed ISU boy. As the night continued I successfully avoided being sat on by not one, but two overweight iniebriated college men, and was able to win a card game. The night came to a close with Rynn and Mothy safley in bed on the couch of two very giving Fraternity Gentlemen.
That was one night that we will not soon forget, some more than others. Until next time ISU Delts, you are, for lack of better words, fabulous.
On a serious note these guys really were awesome and very nice. Both of us could not have asked for a nicer bunch of guys to stay with.

Don't You Tempt us Utah w/ Your Coy Sayings and Large Restrooms 8:19 PM
Much to Rynn and my surprise Utah has greeted us with a famous sense of humor. From clever billboards (my personal favorite- a teenage girl holding a pregnancy test with big letters 'oopse'), to clean new deficating facilities this glorious Mormon filled (no offense) state has more to offer than we could have dreamed. My lovely sister and her two roommates have shown us a great time here in St. George. We were harassed by the signs in Jimmy John's sandwich shop about being naked, and told not to spoon on Sundays by a smoothie bar. I can only hope tomorrow will bring us as many treats.
The previous night we spent in Littleton Colorado, right outside of Denver with Sarah Maurer's Aunt and Uncle and had a great time. Tomorrow we are off to Rancho CA for the final leg of our trek across this glorious country.
This trip has touched us both in ways we never thought possible. I have developed a love for clementines, and Rynn has developed poison ivy.

Can you guess what this is? 7:22 PM
We guessed airplane wing or most likely a windmill blade. Seen on route 80 in iowa. But for sure we don't know what it is...
Iowa has attractions for all tastes... 5:17 PM
Rynn and I are finding that Iowa is well equipped for all colors of people. This corn loving state is host to not only the Herbert Hoover Museum, and Ronald Reagan House, but also the "world's largest truck stop". However that is not all...this heart pounding state has "Kum and Go" stations. Don't tempt us Iowa, or Rynn and Mothy may just stay.

Officially in LOVE with Chicago! 7:57 PM
Beautiful beautiful beautiful! So much fun. Waiting on Navy Pier right now waiting for a show to start!
24 Hours, 40 minutes of Sleep, 4 shots of espresso, and still taking names 2:40 PM
Well, with only 40ish minutes of sleep, we are still managing to survive to see as much of the Windy City as possible. As fate would have it, we are currently positioned perfectly near the pier, shopping, museums, and more. Rynn will provide fab photos to come!
